Liverpool City Region’s mayor, Steve Rotheram, has revealed plans to build more than 60,000 new homes in the region.

Described as the “biggest investment in social and affordable housing our region has ever seen”, more than 300 sites across Liverpool City Region have been identified.

Proposals which speed up the rate of housing delivery and regeneration are already in the pipeline and awaiting approval. Work could then proceed on preparing the sites for investment and project delivery.
