Very pleased to hear that New Brighton is one of two community-driven bids from the Wirral for the UK Town of Culture 2028 programme.

The programme is a national scheme launched by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport to celebrate town’s creativity, heritage and cultural identity.

Led by the New Brighton Partnership, New Brighton will apply in the Small Town category, while Birkenhead will compete in the Large Town category under The Left Bank Collective’s leadership.
